How to play 90-ball Bingo

The most famous version of Bingo is the ever-popular, 90-ball Bingo. To play, just buy your numbered Bingo Tickets. In the game a caller calls out numbers randomly, and if they appear on one of your Tickets, you cover them up or ‘dab’ them. Cover all three lines first to get a full house and win! That’s not all though, there are also prizes if you cover one or two lines.

The 90-ball Bingo Ticket

The Tickets sold in 90-ball Bingo games normally consist of a 3×9 table of numbers. Each line has nine boxes which display five numbers and four empty spots.

The lines are set out like this:

1st Column holds 1-9
2nd Column holds 10-19
3rd Column holds 20-29
4th Column holds 30-39
5th Column holds 40-49
6th Column holds 50-59
7th Column holds 60-69
8th Column holds 70-79
9th Column holds 80-90

The game is nearly always played on strips of six Tickets each. One strip shows the total of the numbers 1-90 spread around the six Tickets - this means that a number is covered at each Bingo call.

The Bingo caller

As you’d expect, 90-ball Bingo uses the numbers 1-90. The caller will call out these numbers one at a time as they are drawn from the Bingo system. In every game each number will only be called out once.

The winning combination

When it comes to 90-ball Bingo games, there are three patterns that’ll give you a win and each one has its own prize.

• Any 1 Line – Cover all the numbers in any single row
• Any 2 Lines – Cover all the numbers any 2 rows
• Full House – Cover all 15 numbers on the Ticket

The payouts and jackpots

Normally, a game’s payout is determined by the cost per Ticket and the number of players. The prize tends to be higher when there are higher Ticket prices and lots of players. Every now and then we offer a fixed minimum prize, regardless of the number of players that take part and the Ticket price. Extra jackpots can also be on offer in a select number of Bingo games.

You can find all the details about a game's jackpot in the info bar on top of your Ticket strips, before and during the game.

The Ticket selection

You can choose your strips and Tickets for each Bingo game by clicking on each one, or you can have the Bingo system select them for you randomly.

MANUAL SELECTION OF TICKETS

You can choose one Ticket or strip at a time by clicking on each one you want to buy. If you want to start again, hit the ‘Clear’ button to remove all of your ticket selections.

AUTOMATIC SELECTION OF TICKETS

You can always have the Bingo system select your Tickets for you. Just click on the amount of Tickets you'd like to purchase, and the system will select random Tickets for you.

Buying the Tickets

All you need to do to join in a Bingo game is buy at least one Ticket.

You can purchase up to 96 Tickets (16 strips) in a single game. It is only possible to buy Tickets after you’ve funded your Bingo account with the right amount. You'll always be able to view your account balance at the top of the screen. To deposit into your account at any time, click the "Cashier/Banking" button.

The price per Ticket is visible on the left-hand side of the screen and the Ticket itself, as well as on the purchase panel.

Playing the game

Once you’ve bought your Tickets for a Bingo game you need to wait for the game to start. You can easily keep track of the time left by checking the "Game Starts" countdown, which appears in the top left corner of the Bingo screen.

New Bingo games will start every few minutes, so you’ll never have to wait too long. Once the game begins, all the details you need to play will appear in an info bar on top of your Tickets. For example, you'll see how many people who are playing the game, the prizes for each winning pattern (1 Line, 2 Lines and Full House) as well as the jackpot.

As the game is being played, the prize winners are displayed and the Ticket symbol on the top right switches to show the next winning pattern.

The numbers called during the game appear in the top left-hand corner within a Bingo ball. Near it you'll find the previous five calls that’ll help you to keep track.

Winning

When a player wins, the game will pause for a moment and a message will tell everyone the winner’s username and how much they won.

When the game finished all of the winners (usually three) will be shown in the same way to all of the players.

Normally the return to the players in 90-ball Bingo is around 70%, whilst the house edge is equal to 30% (this is sometimes altered by the Ticket price as well as the number of Tickets bought in each game).

1tg and 2tg games

These games offer you the chance of winning a cash prize even if you don’t hit the jackpot. If you’re only one or two numbers away from winning the jackpot in these 90-ball games but someone else gets there first, then you can still win a share of the prize.
